Major Research Project (MRP)—Individual | July 2021-May 2022
As the capstone research project for the Master of Design, I explore the persistence of maltreatment in the Canadian sport system and the role of power. Using foresight and systems methods, this research builds on the existing conversation to provide a systemic perspective on how to build a more equitable sport system.
Key activities: Systems and stakeholder analysis, exploration of an ideal future, strategy development, report design, research and analysis.

A team project in which we were to consider space in 2048. Our group chose to explore terra nullius and decolonization in the context of space.

Systems analysis of bias in AI

A team project in which we conducted a systemic exploration of how bias manifests and is embedded in emerging technology. The analysis was used to develop intervention strategies to mitigate the problem by maximizing key leverage points.
My key activities: Causal loop diagrams, three horizons scan, leverage point analysis and intervention strategy development, research and writing.

Team Project | Summer 2021
Working with the Canadian Black Chamber of Commerce, our team assessed the organizational and leadership capabilities of the organization. The result was a series of recommendations to maximize business opportunities and organizational potential.
