Hi, I’m Laurissa (she/her).
I help people reimagine and shape systems that care for people and planet.
I’m a designer, strategist, futurist, and systems thinker based on Vancouver Island. With roots in UX, product, and service design—and a deep commitment to ecological integrity—I help organizations shift toward futures that are resilient, relational, and sustainable.
Whether I’m writing a persona for the planet, mapping relationships between systems and people, or designing tools for community engagement, I work with intention, care, and a strong sense of interconnection.

Persona for the earth → Bringing in the planet’s voice through intentional inclusion as a persona to reflect on the changing technological landscape.
Exploration and terra nullius in space → A foresight project to explore the impacts of exploration in space and potential futures on Earth.
